Litigation Practice lead in the firm’s Toronto office. Practice focuses on corporate, commercial and contractual disputes and professional liability. Has appeared as lead counsel before all levels of court in Ontario, the Supreme Court of Canada, and various administrative tribunals and arbitration panels. Teaches as an Adjunct Professor at Queen’s University Faculty of Law (trial advocacy, medical malpractice), sessional instructor at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law (remedies), the Directors College (DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University), Osgoode Professional Development (Osgoode Hall Law School), The Advocates' Society, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Law Society of PEI. Author of a textbook chapter on remote hearings in arbitrations. A graduate of the Lester B. Pearson College of the Pacific (IB), the University of Toronto (BA, MA), the University of Windsor (LLB), and the University of Detroit-Mercy (JD). Studied abroad through the University of Detroit-Mercy London Law Programme. Admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1998 and the PEI Bar in 2018.
