Tina Hobday is a partner in the Litigation Group at Langlois lawyers LLP and is Chair of the firm’s Pensions and Benefits Group. Tina provides strategic advice to clients, including pension administrators and plan sponsors, on pension plans including multi-employer plans, governance, fiduciary obligations, and administration issues, as well as on ensuring compliance with applicable laws. She is recognized as a seasoned litigator and represents clients before administrative tribunals and courts in pension-related litigation, including insolvency proceedings, as well as in other public law matters. She is a Past Chair of the National Pensions and Benefits Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association and is currently the Chair of the Quebec Regional Council of the Association of Canadian Pension Management (ACPM). Tina has been highly involved with McGill University for over 20 years and served as president of both the McGill Young Alumni and the McGill Alumni Association, and served a five-year term on the Board of Governors of the university. She is currently a member of the Pension Administration Committee of McGill University’s pension plan.
