Viorelia's practice focuses on financing matters and includes advising borrowers and lenders on a wide range of commercial finance transactions, including domestic, cross-border and international asset-based lending, acquisition financing, equipment financing and factoring. She has experience in a variety of industries, notably railcar, truck and shipping transportation and logistics services, mining, forestry, manufacturing and distribution of goods, development of wind-farm projects and film financing. Viorelia has developed an extensive and highly specialized expertise in the financing of mining projects and mining activities in Canada, from the acquisition of mineral rights to the financing of the development of mines and the financing of operating mining companies. Viorelia is also building a forefront complementary practice relating to energy transition and hydrogen, with a focus on the development and use of hydrogen in transportation, mining, power generation and other energy-related industries.
