Frank Mulock is a senior partner in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office. He practises in intellectual property with an emphasis on trademark prosecution, litigation, portfolio management, licensing, litigation, anti-counterfeiting and domain name issues. Frank protects the brands of a diverse range of clients, from retailers and clothing manufacturers to motor vehicle, entertainment and broadcast companies. His counsel is informed by strong industry knowledge and excellent client service. He was editor of the Canadian Patent Reporter, the leading Canadian intellectual property law report edited by the firm, from 1992 to 1999. Frank practises before the Canadian Trademarks Opposition Board and the Federal Court of Canada. He is a member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada and the International Trademark Association. Frank has been recognized in The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, Who’s Who Legal: Canada, Who’s Who Legal: Trademarks, The Best Lawyers in Canada, World Trademark Review 1000 and Expert Guides: Trademarks. He was named an Acritas Star in 2017–2020.
