Yannick Forget is an expert in construction law providing advice to owners, general and specialized contractors, and suppliers of materials. He is experienced in handling claims for delays, breach of contract, and the recovery of funds, particularly through the use of construction hypothecs, as well as claims for faulty work and hidden defects. He has represented various construction industry stakeholders before traditional courts and bodies offering alternative dispute resolution methods, such as arbitration and mediation. He is a member of the board of directors of the Association de la construction du Québec (ACQ) – Région Montérégie since 2014 as well as a member of the board of directors of the Association québécoise des entrepreneurs en infrastructure (AQEI) since 2019.
