The Governance Professionals of Canada (GPC) has announced the appointment of Patrick Gauch as a new member of its Board of Directors.
The appointment comes after a detailed selection process aimed at identifying candidates who align with GPC’s vision and bring valuable expertise to the board. Patrick Gauch, alongside Kyla Hilmer, has been selected for his extensive background in finance, operations, and governance, which will support GPC's objectives and contribute to its future development.

Over the past 25 years, Gauch has served on more than fifteen boards across the private, not-for-profit, and municipal sectors, bringing expertise in strategic planning, financial management, and governance. His current board roles include treasurer and chair of the finance and audit committee for Supply Chain Canada and involvement with SPAO: Photographic Arts Centre.
