For over 20 years, Kelly has acted as strategic counsel to financial institutions, debtors, court-officers and other stakeholders across a broad range of industries. Kelly is recognized by her peers and various publications as a leading lawyer in restructuring and insolvency in Canada, and a market leader in Calgary and nationally. Kelly is the Vice President of the Insolvency Institute of Canada, Canada's premiere private sector, invitation only, insolvency organization dedicated to promotion of excellence in the field of insolvency. She is a member of the International Insolvency Institute, the Turnaround Management Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, Law Society of Alberta and Law Society of Ontario, among others, and served as co-Chair of the 2023 Annual Review of Insolvency Law Conference, the first in-person conference since 2020.
