Called to the Bar of Alberta in 1980 and Ontario in 1983, Richard M. Bogoroch focuses on serious personal injury cases, including brain injury litigation, wrongful death, medical malpractice, product liability, and disability claims. He was certified in 1993 by the Law Society of Ontario (LSO) as a Specialist in Civil Litigation. Richard began his career at Thomson Rogers (1981–1999) before founding Bogoroch & Associates LLP in 1999, a firm dedicated to providing injured victims and their families with access to justice. He has been a guest instructor at the Intensive Trial Advocacy Program at Osgoode Hall Law School. A former Director of The Advocates’ Society (TAS) and the Ontario Centre for Advocacy Training, Richard is a member of TAS(O), CBA, MLST, MTLA, AAJ, and OTLA. He has chaired, spoken, and served as a panellist for continuing legal education programs organized by TAS(O), LSO, Osgoode Hall Professional Development, and OTLA. Richard is regarded as a leading personal injury lawyer and has been recognized by The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and by The Best Lawyers in Canada, two leading Peer Review lawyer rating guides. Richard is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, an honorary society of peer-selected trial lawyers.
