Max Mendelsohn is widely renowned as a pragmatic deal-maker, adviser to commercial enterprises, and mediator and arbitrator in commercial disputes and shareholder disengagements. For many years, he was a member of the insolvency and restructuring group in Montreal and served on the boards of public and private corporations. He is a fellow of the Insolvency Institute and a member of the International Insolvency Institute. He has been recognized in Lexpert’s 500 leading lawyers in Canada, the Chambers Global Directory of the world’s leading lawyers, and the International Who’s Who of insolvency and restructuring lawyers. He is a recipient of Lexpert’s Zenith award, of the TMA Lifetime achievement award, and of the designation of Avocatus Emeritus from the Quebec bar.
