On March 14, 2002, Cable Satisfaction International Inc. (Csii) completed a $48,606,250 bought deal offering, made through a syndicate of underwriters led by CIBC World Markets Inc. and Canaccord Capital Corporation, and including TD Securities Inc. and National Bank Financial Inc. Csii will use the proceeds of the financing primarily to accelerate subscriber growth in Portugal. Csii builds and operates hybrid fibre coaxial (HFC) networks with two-way transmission and large bandwidth (750 Mhz) and, through its subsidiary Cabovisão, Televisão por Cabo, S.A. provides cable television services, high-speed Internet access, telephony and high-speed data transmission services in Portugal.
