Maple Leaf Foods Completes Offering of Common Shares

On December 14, 2001, Maple Leaf Foods Inc. completed a $170 million offering of common shares. Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP represented Maple Leaf Foods with a team comprised of Don Ross, Don Gilchrist, Jennifer Campbell and Allison Wilkie. The underwriting syndicate was led by RBC Dominion Securities Inc. The underwriters were represented by David McCarthy, Brian Pukier, Maurice Swan and Matthew Howorth of Stikeman Elliott.
