TD Capital, the private equity division of TD Bank Financial Group, completed in December 2002, the final closing of TD Capital Private Equity Investors, the first private equity fund-of-funds of its type sponsored in Canada. The fund will make investments in 20 to 30 private equity funds in North America and Europe and is comprised of institutional, high net worth and employee investors who have committed $520 million to the fund.
