On January 23, 2008, The Toronto-Dominion Bank issued €1 billion 4.875 per cent Deposit Notes due January 2013 (listed on the London Stock Exchange) pursuant to its US$8 billion Programme for the issuance of Notes. The joint-lead managers for the offering were Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch and The Toronto-Dominion Bank, and the co-lead managers were Barclays Bank PLC, HSBC Bank plc and The Royal Bank of Scotland plc.
