Vantage Data Centers, LLC (“Vantage”) announced the closing of its acquisition of 4Degrees Colocation (“4Degrees”) from Videotron Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Quebecor Media Inc. (“Quebecor”), for a purchase price of $259 million. The acquisition of 4Degrees expands Vantage’s coast-to-coast presence in North America to six markets, adding campuses in Montreal and Quebec City to the existing Santa Clara, Northern Virginia, Phoenix and Quincy, Washington campuses.
Vantage is a leading North American wholesale data centre provider with nine operational facilities totaling 92MW of capacity and five additional facilities currently under development totaling 103MW. The company provides highly scalable, flexible and efficient data centre solutions to hyperscale, cloud and enterprise customers, offering unique value through its commitment to exceptional customer service and sustainability.
