Brad's practice includes complex commercial cases and precedent-setting public interest litigation. He has appeared as lead counsel at all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada, and in international commercial arbitration panels, administrative tribunals and inquests. His trial and appellate experience includes business disputes, class actions, mining, banking, real estate and leasing, taxation, injunctions, the regulation of professionals, constitutional and administrative law. Brad is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and has experience with various arbitration institutions, including the International Chamber of Commerce. Brad is past president of The Advocates’ Society and the recipient of many awards and rankings. For 11 years he was the head of Blakes Litigation in Toronto.
