With more than 25 years of experience, Rob Roth’s legal practice is focused on assisting clients with mergers & acquisitions, project development (including P3s), corporate finance, corporate structuring and governance and commercial transactions. Rob has worked with clients in a diverse range of sectors, including the energy, power, utility (water/wastewater), construction, forestry, transportation, agricultural and financial sectors, among others. Planning, structuring and implementing transactions, drafting complex commercial agreements and advising Boards on matters of governance and policy have become particular areas of focus within Rob’s practice. Rob’s role within the Firm has also developed to include client management responsibilities for a number of Dentons’ key clients, including CN and EPCOR. In addition to his law practice, Rob is the National Partner, Strategic Transactions and Commercial Development for the Canada Region. In this capacity, Rob is the lead support for an acquisitions steering committee for Dentons Canada combinations and strategic alliances, and he provides tactical and strategic support on client-focused alternative fee arrangements, pricing, master retainer agreements and client contractual arrangements.
