She also regularly represents and advises clients on compliance with emerging environmental legislation, defence of environmental prosecutions and government orders, remediation of contaminated sites and product stewardship. Joanna also practises in the area of climate change, ESG, and energy law. She provides strategic advice to clients on greenhouse gas reporting compliance, obligations arising under federal and provincial greenhouse gas legislation, carbon offset credits, strategies and risks in meeting net-zero commitments and broader ESG due diligence matters.
