Darren Donnelly is a partner in the firm’s Commercial Real Estate group. He acts frequently on transactions, including the purchase and sale of shopping centres, office towers, apartment complexes, seniors housing communities and hotels. Darren has extensive experience with large and complex real estate development issues, including major rezonings, mixed-use developments, bare land subdivision, strata-titled resort properties and seniors housing communities, air space subdivision and public-private partnerships. He and his colleagues at Clark Wilson have been leaders in strata windups. He has held many active positions in organizations involved in land use, including past chair, International Council of Shopping Centers BC Government Relations Committee, and member and lecturer, Urban Development Institute Pacific Region (member, Real Estate Legal Issues Committee). Darren has also been a lecturer for Continuing Legal Education in BC and other seminar providers. Darren was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 1987.
