A partner in Gowling WLG's Toronto office, France Tenaille is a member of the firm's Business Law, Energy, Infrastructure and Mining groups and leader of its Latin America team. With over 30 years of experience, France focuses her practice on complex corporate, corporate finance, project finance and M&A transactions and commercial agreements with an emphasis on energy and natural resources. She has specific experience with mining (earn-in) options, joint ventures, mine operating agreements, off-take agreements, royalties, strategic alliance agreements and layback agreements, among others. Before moving to Canada, France practised for over five years at a major law firm in Caracas, Venezuela. Her unique legal training and experience allow her to advise Canadian and international clients on a range of Latin American matters. Similarly, she is uniquely positioned to advise Latin American clients on Canadian and international matters.
