Micah is a key member of Blakes’ Competition, Antitrust & Foreign Investment Group, widely regarded as the leading competition law practice in Canada. He is an advisor to companies in a wide range of sectors, including advertising, consumer products, energy, investment, financial services, media, technology, and telecommunications. Micah has over 15 years of experience advising on and completing strategic transactions, working with government agencies on regulatory matters, and providing practical, business-focused advice to clients on pricing and contracting practices, marketing initiatives, and arrangements with competitors and customers. Micah has written numerous articles on merger law, efficiencies and the efficiencies defence, abuse of dominance, and legal and economic analyses of network industries. Previously, Micah was an Adjunct Professor at Osgoode Hall Law School, where he taught regulation of competition for seven years.
