Tricia advises Canadian and international businesses on corporate and commercial matters in the healthcare and life sciences sectors including digital health, specialty pharma, technology, food & beverage, long-term care, cannabis and cosmetic companies. She regularly advises on acquisitions, divestitures, equity investments, private placements, roll-ups, joint ventures, intellectual property licensing and R&D arrangements and other commercial transactions involving the acquisition, sale, licensing, manufacturing, distribution, supply and commercialization of products or technologies. She has in-depth experience negotiating and drafting purchase and sale, shareholder, partnership and strategic alliance agreements as well as intellectual property assignment, transfer, license and commercialization agreements. As the lead of the Cannabis group in the Montreal office, Tricia advises clients in the medical and recreational cannabis industry, including licensed producers, processors, applicants, research teams, product developers, online publishers and equipment manufacturers, on a variety of regulatory, corporate and commercial matters ranging from mergers and acquisitions, processing, licensing and import/export arrangements, manufacturing and supply deals and marketing guidelines.
