On September 28, 2018, Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority, a Crown corporation of the Government of Canada, reached financial close with Bridging North America General Partnership (a partnership indirectly held by ACS Infrastructure Canada Inc., Fluor Canada Ltd. and Aecon Concessions, a division of Aecon Construction Group Inc.) for the design, construction, financing, operations, maintenance and rehabilitation of the Gordie Howe International Bridge Project, a new publicly-owned international bridge crossing between Windsor, Ont., and Detroit, Michigan.
On March 15, 2017, the L.F. Wade International Airport Redevelopment Project in Bermuda achieved commercial and financial close. This project is being implemented under a framework agreement between the Government of Bermuda and the Canadian Commercial Corp. (CCC). Under the agreement, CCC will, through its subcontract with a subsidiary of Aecon Group, design and construct a new passenger terminal and related infrastructure under a fixed price, date-guaranteed design and construction contract valued at US$274 million.

On May 20, 2016, the Government of Canada, as represented by Defence Construction (1951) Ltd. (Defence Construction Canada) reached financial close with Uptime Infrastructure Partners (UIP) to design, build, finance, operate and maintain Shared Services Canada’s Enterprise Data Centre Borden, located at Canadian Forces Base Borden, Ontario, for the next 25 years.

Emera Incorporated, through its subsidiary NSP Maritime Link Incorporated, completed a $1.3 billion bond financing in support of the $1.56 billion Maritime Link Project. The Maritime Link Project involves the development, construction and commissioning of both, a new 500MW HVdc transmission line, as well as a 230kV HVac line and associated infrastructure, between the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Province of Nova Scotia.
On May 28, 2004, BC Ferries, operator of the second largest ferry system in the world, closed its initial public offering of $250 million principal amount of senior secured bonds and established its initial syndicated bank credit facility for $355 million.
