Mark Opashinov

Mark Opashinov is a partner in McMillan LLP’s complex regulatory regimes and business law groups. He has experience in all aspects of Canadian competition and foreign investment review law and regularly acts on complex, multi-jurisdictional merger clearance matters for Canadian and foreign clients. He also counsels on behavioural matters under the civil and criminal provisions of Canada's Competition Act. In addition to his regulatory practice, he has extensive M&A transactional experience and routinely leads complex acquisition, divestiture, and joint venture transactions. He is a recognized leader in legal project management and in the use of technology in the practice of law, particularly in respect of complex e-discovery projects. He has extensive publishing and speaking credits.
