Mathieu Laflamme is co-head of the National Private Equity Practice. Mathieu is highly regarded for his creative, practical advice and deep understanding of market terms for private equity, energy and infrastructure, agriculture, private debt, venture capital, real estate, and impact investment funds. He is a key advisor to fund sponsors on all aspects of the fund-formation and capital-raising process and to governments and other institutional investors in connection with their investments in private funds. He also frequently acts for both corporations and investors in private equity, venture capital transactions, and cross-border mergers & acquisitions. Mathieu is a member of the board of directors of Réseau Capital, a member of Réseau Capital’s advisory committee in Quebec City, and a member of the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association’s (CVCA) fund formation model documents committee.
