With over three decades of experience, he is one of the country’s most valuable and respected dealmakers in complex and strategic commercial real estate and infrastructure projects. Phil is dedicated to helping diverse national and international clients, including landowners, developers and institutional stakeholders such as pension funds, banks and public-sector entities, grow their operations through commercial real estate and infrastructure projects. He is also a highly regarded authority on transactions structured under the Financial Administration Act, as well as transactions with Indigenous stakeholders (primarily “renewable energy” and “on reserve” infrastructure projects). In addition, Phil is committed to contributing to the community through various board memberships and has served as a secured transactions professor at the University of Ottawa’s Common Law Faculty.
